TCBでは何かを始める時、たいてい私・井上が発起人になる事が多いんですが、あまり季節やカレンダーに左右されない様にしています。
それは、学校の勉強と同じで、
「作らなきゃ…」という気持ちでイヤイヤ企画しても、良いものはできないと分かっているからです。

だからこそ逆に急に作りたくなる衝動に対してはとても大切にしています。
きっかけはミシンを見ていたり、生地を見ていたり、古着を見ていたり。

実は最近はVintageや生地を凄く見ています。
まだチャプター1の状態なんで、何か具体的に始まってる訳では無いんですけどね。
でもこの
『生地が気になる』　『気づけばVintageをずっと見てた』
という気持ちと時間を大切にしています。

At TCB, whenever we start something new, it’s usually me—Inoue—who takes the initiative. But I try not to be too bound by seasons or the calendar.

It’s like studying at school: when you’re doing something just because you have to, you’re unlikely to create anything good.
That’s why I put a lot of value on those sudden urges to make something.
Sometimes they come from watching a sewing machine in motion, looking at a fabric, or staring at an old vintage piece.

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time looking at vintage garments and fabrics.
It’s still only in the “Chapter 1” phase, so nothing concrete has started yet.
But I’m making sure to honor that feeling—
“That fabric caught my eye.”
“Before I knew it, I had been looking at vintage pieces for hours.”

That curiosity, and the time I spend with it, feels very important right now.
