TCBの実店舗に御来店頂くと意外と多いのが
『飾ってるUSEDサンプルを売ってほしい！』
との声。
もちろんその声は嬉しいんですが、沢山の方に色落ちをイメージして頂く必要が有る為に販売はお断りさせて頂います…

だったらとチャレンジ枠で考えたのがTCBでは別注でしかやって来なかったUSED加工。
USED加工と言えばいつもTCBを着用しながら作業してるWhovalの達也君にお願いしようと至った訳です。
ベースのモデルは、通常であれば50’sの上下セットとかにすれば良いんでしょうが、季節も考慮して今回私たちが選んだのはBoss of the Cat
一つは初夏に色落ちしたオーバーオールをシンプルにTシャツに合わせるのが良いなって思ったのと
アメリカのミネソタ州で大工として働くユーザーからメチャクチャカッコ良く色落ちさせたBoss of the catが届いてTCBに飾ってくれ！
って言われたのがキッカケです。

もちろん今まで、頑なに生から穿いて育てて下さい！
とお伝えしてたので作る事に一瞬の葛藤は有りましたが、ジーンズを楽しんで頂く方を増やしたい。
ジーンズを毎日着用出来て、育てる事が出来るという私のライフスタイルを当たり前に思い過ぎても良く無いなと思った次第です。
When people visit our flagship store, we are surprised at how many people say, “I want to buy the faded samples you have on display!”
Of course, we’re happy to hear that, but we have to decline to sell them because we need a lot of customers to imagine and feel the future fades of our products…
So, we thought up a challenge to try out used-processing, which TCB has only done on a special order basis.

When it comes to used-processing, we’ve decided to ask Tatsuya from Whoval, who always wears TCB while working.
We could have made jeans and a jacket based on the 50’s, which was a safe choice, but considering the season, we chose Boss of the Cat Overalls this time.
One reason is that we thought it would be nice to simply match faded overalls with a T-shirt in early summer, and our friend who works as a carpenter in Minnesota, USA, sent us his Boss of the Cat that he had faded in a really cool way and kindly asked us to display them at the wall of the fade at TCB! That’s what got us started.

Of course, up until now I had been adamant that you should wear jeans by yourself to get your own fade.
So, I was a little hesitant about making them, but I want to increase the number of people who can enjoy jeans.
I thought that it would be bad to take my lifestyle of being able to wear jeans every day and of easily developing fade for granted.
