は、人間の理想的なプロポーションを示した超有名な絵ですが、あの角度、どこかで見たことあるなぁと思ったら…
1stタイプと2ndタイプのGジャンの袖の開き方、まさにあれ。

ピンッと水平に伸びる1stタイプ。
ややナチュラルに下がる2ndタイプ。

この違い、まさにレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチの描く人体図の腕の角度そのもの。
ヴィトルヴィウス的に言えば、これは「構造の意図された美しさ」とでも言えるのかもしれません。
1stは、水平に近い角度でよりワークウェアらしく。
2ndは腕をおろした自然な角度で人間工学的な活動的なシルエット。

1stの頃は原始的なパターンの袖の付き方で脇や胸に入るシワがオーバーサイズ感を演出します。
一方2ndになると袖ぐりが立体的になり、傾斜も入るので今日のRyo君の写真を見て貰って分かる通り、フィット感が高まりスッキリと見えます。

The way the sleeves of the Type1s & 2s of denim jackets open is exactly like that.

The arms of the type1 stretches out horizontally and the ones of the type 2 hang down more naturally at some angle.
This difference is exactly the angle of the arms in Leonardo da Vinci’s drawing of the human body.
In Vitruvian terms, this could be called the “intended beauty of the structure.”

The 1st type is at a nearly horizontal angle, making it look more like workwear.
The 2nd type has the arms lowered at a natural angle, creating an ergonomic and active silhouette.

The 1st model has a primitive sleeve pattern, and the creases at the sides and chest create an oversized look.
On the other hand, the 2nd model has a three-dimensional armhole that is slanted, so as you can see in Ryo’s photo today, it fits better and looks neater.
