バックポケットのリベットが、剥き出しの状態からコンシール（隠し）リベットになった最初の時代──1937年当時のジーンズを再現した 30’s Jeans C。
その後、コンシールリベットは徐々に短くなり、形状も変化していきました。しかし最初期のモデルでは、前ポケットに使われているものと同じ長さのリベットを叩き潰し、無理やり取り付けているような仕様になっています。
このため、後年のモデルと比べるとリベットの高さがやや高め。その影響で、穿き込むうちに生地が破れ、隠されていたはずのリベットが露出してくることがあります。そうなれば、当時のコンシールリベットの形状を、実際にご自身の目で確かめることができるはずです。

The 30’s Jeans C is a repro jeans from 1937, the first time when the rivets on the back pockets changed from exposed to concealed rivets.
After that, the concealed rivets gradually became shorter and its shape changed. However, on the earliest jeans, the rivets were the same length as those used on the front pockets, but they were hammered and looked forcibly attached.

Because of this, the rivets used on the 30’s Jeans are slightly higher than the ones used on the later models. As a result, the fabric may tear as you wear them, exposing the rivets that were supposed to be hidden. When that happens, you should be able to see the shape of the concealed rivets at that time with your own eyes.
