Swedenでは私が着用してたNo2 BlouseにViktorは興味津々で何度も褒めてくれました。
彼くらい1800年代のVintageに精通してる男が観て言ってくれたのは私自身も嬉しかったです。
世界中でも数ヵ所、力織機は動いていますが一つの生地に5種類の太さの糸を混ぜて調整可能なのは岡山だけなので無いかと自負しています。
（機屋の職人さんにはお邪魔した際に、『織りずらい！！』って怒られたのは私にとっても褒め言葉でした笑）

私はSwedenに行ってた理由が
1 vintageの返却
2 未来のViktor’s Voiceのプランニング
3 Viktorの撮影
でした。　
撮影後にViktorが
『ハジメの事も撮ってあげるよ！』
って言ってくれたのですがVIktor殆どピントが合ってないじゃん笑
次はちゃんと２ショットを抑えたいと思います。

Swedenでの撮影はViktorの自宅の庭を使用しています。普段から雪の上を歩く事が殆ど無いので撮影中に２回ほど滑って転倒してしまいました。
購入したばかりのハッセルブラッドをブツけてしまった時は、こいつとは短い付き合いだった、ちょうどSwedenに居るから修理は本社に持って行こうね。
と一瞬でよぎったのですが、壊れても無く、さすがアポロ11号の月面着陸の際に持っていくカメラに選ばれただけ有るなと感心しました笑
さて
２月は珍しく２回も海外出張が有った月でした。
常夏の国でも極寒の地でも無事にトラブル無く過ごせた事に感謝して、旅を共にしてくれたNo2 Blouseを洗濯。
着用を始めてどれ位だっけ？と計算してみると10ヶ月ほどでしょうか。
まだまだ着用して、本藍染めの色落ちを皆さんに観て頂ける様にしたいと思っています。
まだまだこいつを色々な場所に連れて行こう。
While I was in Sweden, Viktor was really intrigued by the No.2 Blouse I was wearing. He kept complimenting it, and coming from someone as knowledgeable about 1800s vintage as he is, that meant a lot to me.

There are only a few places in the world where shuttle looms are still in operation, but I believe Okayama is the only place where we can blend five different yarn thicknesses into a single fabric.
(When I visited the weaving factory, the craftsman complained, “This is so hard to weave!”—but to me, that was the best kind of compliment! Haha.)

The reasons for my trip to Sweden were:

Returning some vintage pieces

Shooting with Viktor
After the shoot, Viktor kindly offered, “Hey, let me take some pictures of you too!”
But man, almost none of them were in focus! Haha.
Next time, I’ll make sure we get a proper two-shot together.

The shoot took place in Viktor’s backyard. Since I rarely walk on snow, I slipped and fell twice during the session. When I hit my brand-new Hasselblad, I thought, “Well, I guess our time together was short… But hey, I’m in Sweden, so I can take it straight to the headquarters for repair.”
Luckily, it wasn’t broken.
I was genuinely impressed—no wonder this was the camera chosen for Apollo 11’s moon landing!

February was quite an unusual month, with two overseas trips.
I’m grateful that I made it through both a tropical climate and freezing temperatures without any trouble. Now, it’s time to wash my No.2 Blouse after all these travels.
I did the math—how long have I been wearing this piece? About 10 months now?
Still a long way to go! I want everyone to see how the natural indigo fades over time.
