Swedenでの滞在が１泊のみという弾丸スケジュールの旅が無事に終了し日本に帰国しております。
今回もViktorとはとても楽しい時間を過ごせましたので、何回かに分けて旅の模様をお届け出来たらと思います。

そういえば裏話から話す形になりますが、昨年の夏に発売されたLateS40’sシリーズ。

きっかけは古泉さんからフランネルポケットが使用された個体を貸して頂いた事からスタートしたんですが、その時に悩んだのが、
『パンツのフランネルポケットのインパクトに負けない位のGジャンを見つけたい』
という事でした。
ダウンパッチのS506が出てきたら最高なのになーって思ってた矢先、昨年の6月にViktorのコレクションを見せて貰った時に出てきたのがまさにズバリの仕様でした。

セットアップの上下で協力者が違ったので、当時は大きくViktorに借りて作ったGジャンです！
とは話して無かったしViktor’s Voiceのラベルは付けて無かったんですが、今回の旅でViktorにS506XXを無事に返却し、それを元に作らせて貰ったLateS40’sJKをプレゼント出来た事がとても嬉しかったです。

PS結構借りてる間は大切に保管してたんですが、撮影時、悪ふざけしたViktorがVintageを嬉しそうに雪に埋めて遊んでたのは驚きでした。次の日はしゃぎ過ぎてViktorは体調を崩してしまったのは内緒です笑
そして最後に、
これからも、彼から聴いた声を、TCBが『素敵な洋服』というタイトルのレコードに収録して、皆さんに聴いて貰える様に出来たら私もViktorも嬉しく思います。
It was like a super short & fast visit to Sweden like a bullet but I’m now back in Japan.
I had really good time with Viktor like we did last June so I will write about it for the coming few blogs.

Speaking of the Late S40’s TCB released last year, the project started with the vintage S501 Mr. Koizumi, a Japanese vintage collector, kindly lent us but the problem was that we had to find a matching jacket and it should be as unique as the pair with the flannel pocket bag, which was of course a high hurdle for sure. TCB usually makes jeans and the jacket made of the same fabric so I thought this project would suffer a long setback. But when we visited Viktor last year, he just happened to own the exact jacket with the leather patch attached low which I’d been looking for. Thanks to Viktor and Koizumi-san, we were able to release this new series and I finally had a chance to return the jacket to Viktor with our repro jacket as a present!

By the way, we paid extra care to the vintage jacket while I had it but during a photo shoot with Viktor, he showed me a nice, naughty smile and dared to bury the jacket in the snow. I was like in a flap, wanting to tell him “is that really alright?” But that’s how Viktor loves his denim!
