「なぜBKBKの方が価格が高くなってしまうのか？」
その理由は、経糸だけを染めるインディゴに比べて、BKBKは経糸と緯糸の両方を染める必要があるため、染色工程のコストが増えるからです。しかし、緯糸も染まっていることで、経糸が色落ちした際の独特な表情が出て、とてもかっこいい仕上がりになります。

デニムのセットアップは人気ですが、人によっては少しハードルが高いと感じることもあるかもしれません。そんな時は、GジャンをBKBKにしてみたり、つるっとさんのようにヒッコリーと組み合わせて「大人のアメカジ」を楽しむのも素敵な選択だと思います。

In today’s video on the “Channel Tsurutto,” I had the opportunity to talk briefly about the 20’s Jacket BKBK.

“Why is the BKBK priced higher?”
The reason lies in the dyeing process—unlike indigo, which only requires dyeing the warp threads, BKBK needs both the warp and weft threads to be dyed. This additional step increases the dyeing costs. However, this dual-dye process creates a unique fading effect when the warp threads lose color, resulting in a truly striking look.

While denim setups are quite popular, some people might find them a bit intimidating to style. In that case, pairing a BKBK jacket with other pieces—like Tsurutto-san did with hickory stripes—to create a mature Americana vibe can be a fantastic alternative.
