今日の写真は2024年末を持ってTCBを卒業した田中です。
思い起こせば2020年の11月に客としてフラッと遊びに来たのが出逢いでした。
シンプルに華が有ったので
『撮影させてよ！』
と写真を撮らせて貰ってBlogに使わせて貰ったのがおじさんに取ってはついこの間の感覚。
当時話を聞くと
『ジーンズが作りたくて、まだ就職先は決まって無いのに東京から移住して来ました』
との事で気付けば次の月にはTCBで一緒に仲間として働いてくれました。

当時はTCBの20代率は低く、私も手探りでしたが、彼の入社をきっかけに20代が数名集まってくれて、柄の悪い喫煙所を彩ってくれました。

もちろん私がTCBの未来を描く時には常に今いるメンバーがいる前提で想像します。
だから居なくなってしまうのには淋しさもあるんですが、私自身も17年前に気持ちよく出して貰って今が有るので否定する権利は私には有りません。

次はパリで勝負をするらしく、4年前と違って内定を貰ってから引っ越すみたいなのでそれだけでも大成長です笑

世界は広いけど狭い。　ジーンズ業界はもっと狭い。
また彼の活躍が私にも届く事を心から願っています。
4年間お疲れ様でした。お互いに頑張ろう！

Today’s photo is of our man, TK, who has graduated from TCB at the end of 2024.
If I recall, we first met in November 2020 when he dropped by at TCB as a customer.
He looked cool, so I asked him if I could take a photo of him and used it on my blog. It feels like it was just the other day.
Also, he said in the conversation, “I wanted to make jeans, so I moved here from Tokyo even though I haven’t yet found a job.”
Just a month later, he became our new member at TCB.

At the time, there were few people in their 20s at TCB, but after he joined TCB, several more young men joined and brightened up the shabby smoking area of TCB.
Of course, when I imagine the future of TCB, I always imagine it assuming that the current members will still be there.
So I’ll be sad to see them go, but I have no right to say no to their future because I pursued my dream and it led me where I am now.
He’ll be taking on a new challenge in Paris next, and unlike 4 years ago, he’ll be moving after getting a job offer, so that alone is a big growth for him lol.

The world is big but small. The jeans industry is even smaller.
I hope that his success will reach me in Japan.
Thank you for your hard work over the past 4 years. Let’s do our best!
