今年を振り返るのはまだ早いけど、今年はスペシャルな大戦モデルのネルポケ仕様を実際に古泉さんにお借りして、そのディテールを細部まで研究することが出来ました。
特に注目したのは、当時のモデルに使われていたネルポケット。その風合いや素材感を再現すべく、生地屋さんにもご協力いただき、試行錯誤の末に特別なネル生地を作り上げました。
寒くなると皆さんお待ちかねですよね。
ジーンズにはコットン100%のフランネルを使用してましたが、このネル生地に少しだけウールを混ぜてみることで、新たな表情を加えています。
It’s still too early to look back on this year, but we borrowed a special WW2 jeans with flannel pockets from Koizumi-san and studied every last detail. We paid particular attention to the flannel pockets used on the models from that time. In order to reproduce that texture and feel, we, after much trial and error, created a special flannel fabric.
The jeans themselves are made from 100% cotton, but by mixing a small amount of wool into the flannel fabric, we added a new look.
