私とXXDEVELOPMENTの社長の太一君が出逢ったのが恐らく2003年で23歳の頃。
共通の友人から絶対に話が合うから！と紹介されたのが始まりです。
彼は既にXX DEVELOPMENTを創業してて当時の私は独立なんて想像して無かったから沢山の刺激を受けた事を覚えています。
出逢って21年の間には一緒に仕事をした時期も有ったしTCBの創業期で私が全然余裕が無かった時期に彼は大手を相手にビジネスを展開中で全然連絡を取らない時期もあったりして今思い出しても記憶は断片的だしあれからワープして2024年にいる気分。
きっと彼に出逢って無ければTCBは始まって無かったというか、TCBという名前の生みの親が太一君な訳ですが….

今日は私と太一くんが社会人としての青春を送ってた頃の2002年に生まれた二人を紹介します。
通称バンビ君と溝口君。
高校生からの友人でそのまま服飾学校に進み6年間同じクラスだったとの事。
どのタイミングでなのか聞いた事有りませんが、TCBとXXDEVELOPMENTを知った彼らは現在
バンビくんはXX DEVELOPMENTで溝口はTCBで毎日働いてくれています。
私たちが当時何気なく撮った２ショットを真似て学校で撮った写真も素晴らしい笑

偶然ですが今日太一くんからLINEで
『人を増やして行った方が良いかな？』
との連絡。
もちろん会社を運営してると何年経っても人を入れるには勇気が居るんだけど、沢山沢山繋いでいく為には大切な事かな？
と思います。

私たちの仕事は世界中の着用者を毎日楽しくさせる事。
社会人１年目は大変だと思うけど辛い時はXXDEVELOPMENTに作って貰ったコラボのリバTを着て頑張って欲しいと思います。

I met Taichi, the boss of XX DEVELOPMENT, in 2003 when I was 23 years old.
A mutual friend of us introduced me with Taichi, saying that we would definitely get along well!
He had already founded XX DEVELOPMENT and I remember being very inspired by him because I had never imagined going independent at the time. During the 21 years since we met, there were times when we worked together and during the early days of TCB when I had no time at all, he was already working with major companies. There were times when we didn’t contact each other at all so even when I think back on it now, my memories are fragmented and I feel like I’ve warped forward to 2024. If I hadn’t met him, TCB probably wouldn’t have started. Surprisingly it is Taichi who gave us the brand name, TCB, to me.

Today, I’d like to introduce two people who were born in 2002, when Taichi and I were spending our youth as working adults.They are known as Bambi and Mizoguchi.
They have been friends since high school, and apparently went on to fashion school and were in the same class for six years. I haven’t asked them when it happened, but after they found out about TCB and XXDEVELOPMENT, Bambi works at XX DEVELOPMENT and Mizoguchi works at TCB every day.

By coincidence, Taichi contacted me on LINE today and asked, “Do you think we should hire more people?”
Of course, it takes courage to hire people even after many years of running a company, but I think it’s important to connect many people.

Our job is to make people all over the world happy every day.
