令和では考えられない世界観の話ですが、漫画巨人の星をご存知でしょうか？？
もちろん私もリアルタイムでは知りませんが、巨人軍の三塁手だった父・星一徹により幼年時から野球のための英才教育を施されるスポ根野球漫画。
作中では巨人の星を掴むために血を汗流せ涙を拭くなと歌が流れます。
そして
御多分に洩れず我が家でも
3年前、当時2歳になったばかりの娘と70-90年前のVintageを観せながらジーンズの星を掴むために英才教育。
生地スワッチを触らせて生地感を身体に叩き込みました。
当時、妻や猫が木の陰から娘を見守ってた事を昨日の事の様に思い出します。

Do you know old Japanese comic series “Kyojin no Hoshi” (The star of Giants)?　
It’s a legendary comic categorized in so-called Spokon (Sports and never-give-up spirits) where the main character, Hyuma, receives gifted but very rigorous baseball education from his childhood by his dad and aspires to be a professional baseball player for Giants. In the story, hid dad says to him, sweat like you bleed and never wipe tears. That’s the way to be the star for Giants.

Inspired by this, I had daughter see and feel vintage jeans from her 2 year birthday.
I think she now knows how vintage jeans look and feel. The Hyuma at least loves baseball but I’m not sure my daughter likes denim though. lol.
