いつもViktors VoiceのTwo Cats Waist Overallを着用してジーンズを洗ってくれてる志賀君。
もちろん今回のProjectのサンプルも彼に洗いをお願いしました。
いつも水に濡れたまま薬品を浴びながらハードワークに耐える彼のジーンズ。
恐らく次のジーンズも着用して1880年代に負けない色落ちを先導してくれると思います。
基本的に児島の洗い工場でOne washといえば糊を落とす意味でもお湯を使うことが多いですが、TCBでは昔の気にしてない洗いを考慮して常温の水にて洗って頂いてます。
常温が今回のジーンズにもピッタリな気がしてます。

Our friend, Shiga-kun, is working at a washing factory, wearing our Two Cats Waist Overall from the last Viktor’s Voice collab project. As usual, we asked him to wash the first prototypes of the new VC collab.
His jeans always get damaged by water, some chimicals for washing. It must be pretty hard work on his jeans and he will develop as drastic fade on his new VC jeans as the one from 1800’s for sure.

In kojima, one-washed basically means getting rid of the starch on the fabric so it’s usually done with hot water but this time, we ask them to wash with tepid water. It’s purely my guess but people back then didn’t care too much about the water temperature for washing.
