自宅のクローゼットで眠ってたChore Coat
私が若い頃はGジャンもChore Coatもライニングが付いてたら人気が無くてお店によってはブランケットを剥がして販売されてました。
真ん中のデニムVerがまさにそうで襟がコーデュロイで背中にアクションプリーツが付いてるのに綺麗にライニングが剥がされてます。
ボロボロのダックも一時期気に入って着用してて特に海外に行く時に
『これ位のボロい格好は安全だ！』という持論が有ったのですが毎度空港で別室に連れて行かれるというオチに懲りて着る機会も減りました。探知犬が私のこのジャケットをクンクンと匂いを嗅いでくれたのも良い思い出です。
そのダックVerの襟にはドットボタンが付いてました。
これは何の為なんだろう？と思ってたのですが、先日やっとドットボタンの意味を教えてくれる個体にも出会えました。
フードを被った時に保温性を考えたり、作業の邪魔にならない事を考えたらVintageのフードはタイト過ぎますね。
少しフードの大きさは変えようか？
今年はこのフードを皆さんに被って貰いましょう。

This is a chore jacket that has been sleeping for quite a long time in my closet.

When I was young, somehow lined jackets were not that popular at all so I remember that they were sold with the lining taken off by vintage shops.
The middle one is one of those. The collar is of corduroy and it has the action pleats around the shoulders, which are the specification of the lined jackets.

When traveling abroad, I especially chose this one with my buddy outer because it looks a bit shabby so that I won’t be an easy target haha. But the security dogs always tried to sniff if I had something illegal ( I didn’t of course)

Did you also notice the tuck button at the collar? I finally found the piece that tells why and it’s for an attachable hoodie! The shape of it is a bit old so we might better alter the silhouette a little bit?
