先日急遽TCBに来られてた古泉さん。
２日間Vintage談義に花を咲かせたり、力織機でDENIMが織られる風景を観て頂いたりの楽しい時間を過ごせました。
しっかりとアナウンスをしてなかったのですが、運良く御来店頂いた方は1936と1937の506XXを実際に触れせて頂いたり試着させて頂いたりというスペシャルなサービスでした。

(スピリチュアルな事が言いたい訳では無いのですが….あくまで経験則として)
何でもそうでしょうけど、何かを好きで居続けると必ず人にも磁力というのが発生して、強い力で引き寄せられる事が有ると思います。出会うべくして出会ったのかなーって。
その為には行動し続ける。思いを口にするって事が大事なのかもしれませんね。
ジーンズという共通の大好きな物がありつつも、私は作る事を掘り続けた。
古泉さんはVintageを集めながら、その歴史を掘り続けられています。
その角度の違う二人だからこそが力を合わせて作ることによって観る人触る人が楽しんでくれたら私も嬉しいと思います。
当日はあまりにも急だったので、二人行ったIG LIVEを掲載中なのでそちらも観て頂けたらと思います。
改めて古泉さんの力添え無しには20’sJKと30’sシリーズは作れませんでした。

Mr. Koizumi, who lent us super vintage out of his passion and love towards jeans, visited TCB last week.
It seems he enjoyed talking with us and our customers who share the same passion with him. Luckily, the customers were able to see in person 506XX from 1936 and 1937. Koizumi san even went to such length as to let them wear those vintage jackets & jeans. Both are incredibly rare , I guess there are less than 10 pcs with the similar conditions in the world.

I’m not a spiritual person or the similar kind but I think it makes something like magnetic force if you have a strong passion about something and if you keep going for it. For me, it was to make jeans and for Koizumi san it was to dive into the history of jeans from an archeological point of view. We have a similar but different passion and if those combined together I guess we could make jeans that make you more excited!
