Making of 20’s jacket

After attaching the pocket to the body by a two-needle sewing machine, we attach the pocket flap by a single needle machine as the next process. Usually the pocket and its flap are sewn together in one-go after the two-needle machines prevailed in the US. But, it seems it was two separated processes in the 30’s.

We go sewing a narrow rectangle on the top of the flap but if you look very carefully at the seams there on the vintage jacket, you’ll see even these stitches are wobbly at some points and so are the ones of our jacket.

I don’t think people would notice this unless I describe it and I want you to see all the minute details of this jacket so that you can enjoy more wearing our jacket!
