さて今日は先日伺った岡山県井原市のS40’s用の生地が織られる場所の紹介です。
We’d like to introduce the mill in Ibara, Okayama to you where the fabric of S40’s is woven.

その前に
因みに当時は水面下だったので詳しく書きませんでしたが大戦モデルを実際に解体し糸を採取して糸の形状を検査して貰いました。
When we took this pic, we hadn’t yet to know when the release would be but I was disassemble the jeans to take out some threads for the analysis of the threads.

S40’sの生地の糸が綿から作られる場所に行ってきました。
今回選んだアメリカのイースタンメンフィス、ニューオリンズ、テキサスの綿と一緒に写真も撮りました。
I also visited the factory where the spinning took place. The pic shows the cotton from Eastern Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas.
